Billing Information

We accept MOST major insurance plans and some worker’s compensation covered injuries. Unfortunately, it is not feasible for us to participate in all plans.

If we are out-of-network for your insurance plan, we are VERY WILLING to work with our patients. We will help you understand your insurance allowable fees and facilitate the out-of-network process regarding expected costs. Many times the cost directly to the patient can be affordable or even similar to the expected in-network costs, particularly if surgery or fracture care is necessary. It must be remembered that most patients today have high deductibles, which means greater patient responsibility for payments even for in-network procedures in comparison. For out-of-network patients, we will submit the claims to your health insurance carrier as a courtesy to you to facilitate the process.

Due to higher insurance deductibles, coinsurance policies, and higher level out-of-pocket expenses placed upon the patient by most insurance plans today, you may be expected at the time of your visit or before scheduling surgery to pay a portion of or all of your allowed fees designated by your insurance as patient responsibility.

Please be aware that you are responsible for understanding your insurance coverage, which can be very different from patient to patient. We realize how overwhelming, confusing, and time-consuming the process can be, but we will try our best to help you understand your policy and expected financial responsibility.

Self-pay patients are also welcome. We can discuss your expected fees and are willing to work with you regarding payments.
